What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Tech position at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional?
Experience Required
A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologist technology. ARRT Certification in MRI required
BLS/CPR preferred, required after 6 months' employment.
Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in
EPIC / EMR and PACS system Canon MRI experience preferred but not necessary.
Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when necessary.
Excellent organizational skills and communication skills are needed to effectively orchestrate the daily workflow of patients.
Highly developed customer service skills are required. The ability to work well as part of a team.
Holiday shifts per year required.
Flu shots or declination are required annually.
