Akana, a Native American-owned multi-discipline consulting firm with a diverse portfolio of clients and projects throughout the United States, is seeking to add a Staff Grant Writer to our firm. This position is full time.
As a Senior Grant Writer you will be a professional who works to secure funding for Native American Tribal projects in the infrastructure, economic development, and natural resources areas.
General Responsibilities are:
- Write highly persuasive and competitive grant applications.
- Manage multiple grant applications simultaneously and independently plan workload to meet grant deadlines.
- Manage grant projects, from project setup to client invoicing and closeout.
- Work closely with senior managers and team members and follow Akana’s grant preparation process.
- Inform and guide Akana team members and clients during grant preparation process.
- Maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and funding agencies.
