Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator’s primary purpose is to coordinate and oversee compression project(s) execution of OEM and non-OEM, legacy compressor upgrades and/or supply new OEM equipment for natural gas and downstream compressor operators both in the US and global markets. The Project Coordinator is a detailed resource who has knowledge and experience in managing and overseeing projects to accomplish stated company objectives. The Project Coordinator, as the internal and customer liaison within our ACI Compressor Products Division, will utilize experience and technical knowledge to interface with ACI Engineering and Operations Teams, and the customer and ensure ACI’s best interests and project deliverables are adhered to.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee project activities , including budget management, schedule development and Customer-specific contract conformance requirements.
Interface with internal Engineering and Operations teams and the customer to ensure a clear communication channel to convey execution plans, progress updates and to manage changes in scope.
Assist in development of appropriate Project Execution Plan including strategies for both the development and implementation phases of the project.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including proposals, meeting minutes, and reports
Ensure close and effective coordination with all internal stakeholder groups, including sales, engineering, sourcing, and operations.
Ensure Sub-contractor performance is monitored and measured against contract terms and conditions.
Identify and have quoted all scope changes for review and approval.
Prepare formal reports as required for internal stakeholders and customers.
Identify potential issues and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
Ensure opportunities for improvement are identified and documented as lessons learned throughout the project life cycle.
Maintain a high level of focus on health, safety and environment.
Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets, employees, and the general public.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology) or equivalent
5 years' experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably within the natural gas and reciprocating compressor industry.
Familiarity with compressor component and assembly drawing and able to read and interpret as required.
Familiarity with the usage of compressors in the natural gas and process industries is desired.
Understanding of engineering principles and technical specifications related to reciprocating compressors.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure timely completion.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Suite and selected ERP software.
Experience with scheduling using Microsoft Projects a plus.
Experience with Acumatica or other ERP system a plus.
Travel is required along with potential on-site work at our customer locations in support of projects throughout the U.S.

Employee must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by local, state or federal agencies and/or COOPER Machinery Services and customer policies, as required.
Exposure to smells and fumes associated with natural gas products.
Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting project sites.
Field activities may include walking to and amidst work and/or construction sites, working around heavy equipment, negotiating rough terrain, areas of loose rock, etc.
Field work frequently involves getting dirty, sweaty, dusty, and hot, especially during summer months.
Travel to remote areas within a particular region may involve extended periods of driving.
Extended periods of sitting may be required for administrative activities.
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
Ability to climb stairs/ladder.
Will requiring standing for long periods, sitting, squatting, etc.
Frequent use of a computer for emails, reports, and project management software.
