Job Overview:
The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Field Service operations to include startup, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting situations for Reciprocating Compression equipment. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting the CAT initiative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technology Support Specialist will be responsible for the following:
· Providing operational and technical support for the Field Service team
· Supporting the CAT initiative to train front line workers, perform remote inspections and to also provide technical support to external and internal customers via web meetings utilizing the MS HoloLens device.
· Supporting the Red Flag Review process for equipment startups
· Assist in new hire and promotion/progressions technical screens
· Provide technical support to proposals team as needed.
· Other supporting functions as necessary to assist the operational support team.
· Travel ~20% of the time throughout the US
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred; minimum high-school diploma or GED with 10 years Operational Support required
· Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers, colleagues and peers.
· Strong reciprocating engine and compressor experience (CAT and Waukesha equipment a plus)
· A “team player” that considers the teams and the company’s goals in their daily work.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
