About the Position :
The Large-scale Dynamics group in the Atmospheric, Oceanic and Earth Sciences is seeking a Scientific Applications Programmer to generate and optimize programs for the analysis of weather and climate data.
Responsibilities :
- Creates programs and algorithms and develops computational infrastructure resources for organizing and parsing data from large and complex datasets;
- Develops and assists with the implementation of visualization and data analysis methods and codes via API and other methods to enable user interaction;
- Writes clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
