Salary range : $250 per day without certification, $275 per day with certification
Start Date : Immediately upon hire

Long-term substitute Special Education Teacher needed to work in a regional special education program with children with Autism and other Pervasive Developmental Disabilities. Work with well-trained teams in a positive teaching environment. Extensive staff development and teacher support provided.
Qualifications : Candidates must have a degree in special education and be eligible for / hold State of Connecticut teaching certificate required for the position. CT Certification (165) preferred. Candidates with previous teaching experience and a MS / MA in the discipline / field are preferred. See attached job description.
