Job Summary
The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the property are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a welcoming environment for members and guests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Address member inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness or housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
- Familiarity with floor care procedures and equipment maintenance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
