As a member of the Content Marketing team under CooperSurgical’s Integrated Marketing Services (IMS) department, you will support the team in social media content creation and global external marketing communications initiatives. The internship provides valuable experience in several different marketing areas and gives you the opportunity to learn from a professional team with diverse backgrounds and talents.

As a member of the Content Marketing team under CooperSurgical’s Integrated Marketing Services (IMS) department, you will support the team in social media content creation and global external marketing communications initiatives. The internship provides valuable experience in several different marketing areas and gives you the opportunity to learn from a professional team with diverse backgrounds and talents.
Responsibilities
- Support the content marketing function with daily tasks including managing content creation and distribution, branding initiatives, editorial calendars and analytics on media channels.
- Support the creative development function with copywriting and graphic design requests.
- Support global and local marketing and branding initiatives and work cross-departmentally with the Events & Tradeshow and Digital Growth teams under IMS.
- Serve as a resource to coordinate internal and external resources, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
- Experience working with graphic design software such as Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, or other.
- Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and follow-through skill set.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to all levels of the organization, including senior leaders.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.
- Current college student, majoring in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing (preferred but not required) entering their Junior or Senior year.
