Purpose:

Under the general direction of the Controller or designee, the Fiscal Grant Analyst (GA) will be responsible for managing the fiscal component of all grants, grant billing and tracking, general administrative, vendor/contract management and other operational duties including as liaison with other departments and participating Grantees. Also, serve as back up to the accounting department providing support to department as needed.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in non-profit administration.
  • Experience in program budgeting and fiscal management.
  • Excellence in organizational communication with the ability to work efficiently with mid-level staff on the fiscal component of their grants and contracts.
  • Experience with Salesforce, DocuSign and collaborative technology tools.
  • Track record of effective collaboration within a direct service organization with a complex array of programs and funding sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and manage systems for the communication of grant contract status, goals and information needed to manage grant expenditures, interdependencies, progress and risk.
  • Prepare and manage high level funding budgets for State and City programs.
  • Effectively work with and communicate with department directors and administration to understand the department/services/program needs. Understand the various functions of the departments to effectively assist those departments seeking and implementing grants.
  • Responsible for grant billing submissions, tracking receipt of payments and payment disbursements to participating grantees.
  • Act as a liaison to participating grantees to obtain their timely reporting of expenses for internal reporting and for grant billing submissions.
  • Ensure supporting documentation of spending from grantees agree with approved budgets.
  • Review the general ledger to ensure accuracy of expenses to the respective grants and departments.
  • Monitor compliance with grant stipulations and program progress through on-site evaluations and reviews of plans and reports.
  • Partner with the Controller and CFO to analyze and forecast grant spending and make recommendations.
  • · Maintain and organize grant and contract files.
  • Responsible for the quality of all grant contracts from start to finish.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular management reports, document activities, expenditures and other relevant data in areas.
  • Performs any other job related tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
