Job Summary:
The Senior Marketing Communications Manager is a highly skilled Marketing Communications professional with an exceptional track record of strategic planning, project management and content creation in the digital and traditional marketing realm. The Senior MarCom Manager leads CCO marketing communications professionals to high quality performance in a collaborative work setting as we seek to establish leadership in the IDD industry in New York State.
As a member of the Marketing Communications team, the Senior Marketing Communications Manager supports the mission of the CCO by guiding execution of high-quality marketing communications and member facing content, taking a lead role in developing engaging narratives focused on educating audiences about Care Management services. This role is integral to leading strategic planning to ensure consistent, quality messaging that contributes to growth.
The Senior Communications Manager engages in initiatives instrumental to raising awareness, educating, promoting, and expanding the reputation of the CCO in NYS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads and participates in execution of strategic communications in alignment with corporate goals, departmental needs, and brand messaging.
- Leads team management of day-to-day marketing communications functions, including coordinating and execution of multiple requests utilizing varied delivery platforms.
- Supports development and content creation for branded materials, support documents, and presentations across all departments, including executive level communications.
- Oversees accuracy in branding to ensure complimentary marketing campaigns for each CCO.
- Interfaces regularly to support the needs of the Member Relations, Provider Relations, Outreach, HR and other teams, sharing ideas and best practices with colleagues in other departments and regions.
- Participates with the Member Relations and other teams to seek and implement content suggestions from members and families.
- Provides insight into the IDD community and the CCO Health Home model by leading in the execution of targeted marketing campaigns.
- Leads creative efforts to build authentic, compelling narratives to raise awareness and promote Care Coordination services, including contributing to campaigns to educate members about the differentiating aspects of the CCO.
- Leads creation and coordination of content, including written, visual, video, and others.
- Works collaboratively to generate ideas and strategies, capture relevant stories, and execute consistent communication for various audiences.
- Manages ongoing projects as assigned to execute marketing initiatives focused on members, employees and the public.
- Monitors and measures the success of digital marketing efforts; evaluates performance and collects audience insights.
- Participates in efforts to create timely, relevant communications via the company intranet, supporting daily workflow, information sharing, and building the CCO culture.
- Leads in creating and facilitating a consistent organizational voice, vision, and brand across communications channels.
- Serves as a company representative as assigned.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- Must live within 100 miles of their assigned office hub location.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License from New York, or a contiguous state (i.e., Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont) OR must have the ability to take ample public transportation to attend meetings in person in the community and in the office as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Marketing, Communications, business, or related field is required.
- Certifications in digital marketing and/or analytics, desired.
- Graphic design skill and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic tools.
- 5 years of professional experience in a creative marketing and communications role is required.
- Experience in managing complex projects across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Successful experience writing content for marketing and digital media contexts.
- Superior written and interpersonal communication skills; able to make complex ideas simple, particularly with educational content.
- Ability to execute and lead projects to completion, coordinating project teams, as well as the ability to identify problems and independently design and implement solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize, as necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in cross-disciplinary environments to convey ideas and concepts.
- Ability to execute and lead projects to completion, to effectively collaborate with others, to identify problems and assist in implementing solutions.
- Must possess the ability to exercise critical thinking and collaborate with team members to ensure appropriate resolutions are met.
- Experience writing in person-first language, healthcare or in the IDD industry preferred.
- Experience in the IDD, NYS Health Homes, health care, or related fields preferred.
- Must possess strong customer service skills.
- Absolute sense of integrity and personal commitment to serving people with I/DD and their families.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and ability to work in a team environment.
Salary : $74,444 - $80,000
