Job Summary

The Marketing Associate (MA) is an integral part of the Marketing Communications team. The Marketing Associate supports CCANY by driving member and community engagement through communications and marketing campaigns and ensuring CCANY has a positive presence.

The Marketing Associate develops, produces, and executes marketing content based on strategic objectives and organizational priorities. The MA plays an important role in helping to raise awareness, expand the brand, promote Care Coordination services, and to expand our reputation in our regions.

The MA creates and manages email and social media marketing, digital communications, and print marketing for the company. The MA is a highly motivated, creative team player with experience and passion for executing strategies that make an impact.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Designs collateral materials and messaging specific to an audience, assists in the creation of those materials, and executes at community events.
  • Supports the CCANY Marketing Communications team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manages company image in a cohesive way to achieve defined marketing goals.
  • Maintains and updates website content, contributing to site optimization for search and user experience.
  • Executes production and distribution of multiple email newsletters.
  • Administers and oversees social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn; manage brand images, creating and managing original posts and responding appropriately to followers.
  • Executes social media strategy, ensuring high levels of web traffic and member engagement with reference to benchmarks.
  • Communicates with followers, responds to queries in a timely manner and monitors reviews.
  • Create and manage print media such brochures, flyers, articles, PPT, video etc. in line with corporate marketing functions.
  • Manage the design and ordering process of all promotional materials
  • Engages with creation and execution of marketing strategies on industry, individual needs, and environmental changes that affect strategic goals.
  • Serves as a company representative as assigned.
  • Monitors and reports on digital KPIs using Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and other reporting tools.
  • Provides all required reporting in a timely manner; deliver monthly analytic reports with clear and concise descriptions of content performance, results, and next step recommendations.
  • Executes development and maintenance of website content, with focus on design and visuals.
  • Manages digital marketing analytics to measure performance and collect audience insights.
  • Oversees organization of visual assets, including photos and videos.
  • Assists in supporting consistent organizational brand across communications channels.
  • Serves as a company representative as assigned.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License from New York, or a contiguous state (i.e., Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont) OR must have the ability to take ample public transportation to attend meetings in person in the community and in the office as needed.
  • Must reside within 100 miles of their assigned office hub location.

Education And Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Marketing, Communications, business, or related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of job-related experience, specifically in marketing or communications, business development, more experience preferred.
  • Disability and/or healthcare delivery experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital/general marketing.
  • Experience in graphic design, digital and print, using current industry standard software; Adobe Creative (particularly Photoshop, Premiere Pro and InDesign) expertise.
  • Experience with website management programs (WordPress, Hootsuite, site builder, and like programs).
  • Experience executing email marketing campaigns, such as MailChimp and Constant Contact.
  • Experience developing growth strategies across all social channels and managing audience engagement campaigns.
  • High-level graphic design and digital marketing skills.
  • Experience using collaboration software such as MS Teams or Slack.
  • Must be able to take the initiative and see a project through to completion.
  • Project management skills appropriate to manage multiple initiatives at one time.
  • High-level Microsoft Office skills, including file sharing, collaboration, Office suite.
  • Experience with WordPress website CMS and plug ins.
  • Experience in the IDD or related healthcare type industry desired
  • Ability to work in cross-disciplinary environments to convey ideas and concepts.
  • Must possess the ability to exercise critical thinking and collaborate with team members to ensure appropriate resolutions are met.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Participate in various projects as assigned.
  • Absolute sense of integrity and personal commitment to serving people with I/DD and their families.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and ability to work in a team environment.
