What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist and Data Entry position at Coordinated Youth and Human Services?
POSITION SUMMARY
Perform administrative and office support activities for all of the agency, as well as, foster efficient operation of the overall agency.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Receptionist Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and clients. Welcome and assist these individuals when they arrive in a warm and friendly matter. Provide updates on expected wait times.
- Announce the arrival of a client, applicant, or visitor to the appropriate personnel.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
- Take and distribute detailed messages to appropriate personnel.
- Responsible for all mail and deliveries. Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence to proper individuals.
- Will drop mail off at the post office at the end of the day and the school board office when needed.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material available for clients and employees. Will conduct light cleaning of area if needed throughout the day.
