Under the direction of the Coos County IT Director, this busy position is responsible for keeping the County's network infrastructure operational. Includes the installation, configuration and maintenance of system and application hardware and software including servers, network equipment, and County staff desktop PCs.
Requires an Associate's Degree in a technical or computer related field or equivalent combination of experience. Three years of directly related work experience, or ability to demonstrate thorough current knowledge of network systems, protocols and software.
This position works primarily in an office setting, located in Coquille, Oregon. There may be some work performed after hours and on weekends as needed. Position requires a full background check and DMV driving history check.
