PRIMARY PURPOSE
Project Manager I (PM) plays a vital role in assisting with projects related to network infrastructure, technology rollouts, and service upgrades. The PM plans and executes projects efficiently, ensuring they stay within scope, budget, and timelines and manages resources including technical teams and vendors, to ensure seamless execution and compliance with industry standards. Risk management is critical in this role, as this position must anticipate potential challenges such as regulatory delays, technical failures, or budget constraints and implement contingency plans accordingly. Effective communication is key, as it serves as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders, vendors, management, and executive teams, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with business goals. Once a project is completed, the PM will assess and make recommendations for future improvements. This role is essential in ensuring the successful deployment of telecommunications infrastructure that supports connectivity and enhances service delivery.

· Assist in planning, executing, and tracking broadband service projects from inception to completion.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, and customer service,
to ensure project success.
· Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
· Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure timely completion.
· Develop and maintain a project risk registry to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
· Assist in preparation and presentation of project status reports to stakeholders.
· Work to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
· Attend project virtual and in-person meetings, gaining project insight and creating action items
and a risk register.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
TRAVEL
Occasional travel throughout the Beacon and CCEC service territories. Some travel throughout Oregon and other
states for conferences and events.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Familiarity with Power BI or Business Dashboard reports.
· Certification preferred: CAPM or PMP.
· Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Working knowledge of project management tools and modalities. (SCRUM, AGILE, or WATERFALL)
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
· 1-2 years of project management experience, preferably in the telecommunications or broadband industry.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Reliable transportation for getting to work.
· Must meet the requirements of pre-employment drug screening and comply with company drug and alcohol policy while employed.
