We are seeking a skilled Computer Specialist to join our team at COP Construction. This role is essential for maintaining our IT infrastructure and providing technical support to ensure seamless operations across our various project sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to staff across multiple locations, ensuring efficient operation of all computer systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Administer directory for user account management, security protocols, and tracking of COP equipment.
- Utilize ServiceNow for tracking IT service requests and incidents effectively.
- Assist in the implementation of IT infrastructure projects to enhance operational capabilities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and customer service standards.
- Maintain documentation related to IT systems and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support roles with a strong understanding of operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including Office 365 and Sharepoint.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality support.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Experience with construction-specific software and applications is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites for on-site support
