Brief Summary Of Role
As Data Scientist for Copado, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to create a single source of truth for company performance metrics.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and implement standardized metrics and KPIs across finance, sales, product, and marketing to ensure consistent performance evaluation
- Develop and maintain advanced AI/ML models for financial forecasting, product usage analysis, and business performance prediction
- Create automated data pipelines and validation processes to ensure accurate and timely distribution of critical business metrics
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualization tools for stakeholder consumption
- Collaborate with Product, Revenue Operations, IT Infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources
- Lead the development of predictive models for product usage, revenue forecasting, customer behavior analysis, and resource optimization
- Implement data quality controls and governance processes to maintain data integrity and trust
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data science with focus on financial analytics
- Demonstrated experience in SaaS/DevOps business models
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Excellence in translating complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R for statistical programming and ML implementation
- Expert-level experience with Salesforce and other business applications and data sources
- Strong background in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Expertise in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
- Experience with automation and scripting for financial analysis
- Expert-level understanding of SaaS business models and metrics
- Proven experience working with high-growth, multi-product technology companies
- Strong background in business performance metrics
- Experience in standardizing metrics across different business units
- Track record of implementing data-driven decision-making processes
