Position Summary
The Assistant Retail Manager (ARM) supports the Retail Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a retail, bakery, and coffee space. This role focuses on ensuring an exceptional guest experience, maintaining product quality, and achieving operational efficiency. The ARM also plays a critical role in staff development, inventory management, and creating a welcoming environment that reflects the values of Noble Food & Pursuits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following and may change or be adjusted at any time:
· Assist in managing daily operations of the retail space, ensuring a smooth workflow and outstanding guest service.
· Support the Retail Manager in supervising, training, and mentoring the retail team.
· Oversee product displays and merchandising to ensure alignment with brand standards.
· Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
· Address guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail and café areas.
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure product availability and quality.
· Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
· Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash management and reporting.
· Support promotional initiatives, events, and seasonal product launches.
Additional Skills and Responsibilities
· 2 years’ experience in a retail or hospitality management role.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools.
· Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Passion for hospitality and delivering a memorable guest experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Flexibility with job demands and open-minded when being asked to complete tasks
· May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs
· Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
· Occasionally crouch and climb.
· Working in an environment that may be exposed to hazardous equipment and situations and conditions that produce cuts or minor burns
· Exposed to hot and cold temperatures, such as when working near ovens or retrieving food from freezers
