We're seeking an experienced Java Developer/SDET with 8 years of experience to join our quality engineering team. In this role, you'll build robust test automation frameworks and ensure the quality of our web services and UI components.
Technical Skills Required
**Core Technologies:**
- Java (advanced proficiency)
- Spring Framework
- Test Automation: Playwright, Selenium
- API Testing: RESTful Services, Postman
- Test Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD)
- Performance Testing: JMeter
- CI/CD: Jenkins
- JavaScript
**Database Skills:**
- SQL optimization
- Relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB/DB2)

Key Responsibilities
**Test Development & Execution:**
- Design and build robust test automation frameworks for both RESTful APIs and UI
- Implement TDD and BDD practices using Cucumber
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites
- Create comprehensive test scenarios from user stories
- Execute tests and analyze results across different environments
**Quality Assurance:**
- Ensure consistent quality and reliability of web service releases
- Participate in go/no-go decisions for production deployments
- Review product documentation to verify requirements are clear and testable
- Identify potential quality issues early in the development cycle
**Collaboration & Process:**
- Work with cross-functional teams across different time zones
- Manage defects through JIRA and Confluence
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
