Description
The Recovery Aide is responsible for assisting the treatment team with the implementation of individual service plans, providing outreach and individual/group services to individuals and families in hospital, institution, or community settings. Assist with the monitoring of client compliance with recommended treatment and collaborate with the recovery coach and/or attending provider to monitor medication compliance. Provide safe, timely transportation of clients to and from the facility as assigned.
Minimum Education/Experience Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, plus one (1) year of behavioral health related work experience.
Additional Qualification to Provide Peer Support Services:
- Completion of an AHCCCS Behavioral Health Services approved Peer Support Training program.

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. An unacceptable driving record includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- more than two [2] moving violations in the last three [3] years or;
- more than one [1] at-fault accident within the last three [3] years or;
- any major violation (i.e. DUI, Careless/Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Hit and Run) within the last three [3] years.
Other driving related violations may be considered unacceptable. At time of job offer, submission of 36 month (three year) driving record from DMV will be required. These standards must be maintained throughout employment and up-to-date driving records are reviewed regularly for current employees.
