We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and innovative Recruiter to join our Human Resources department. The Recruiter will be responsible for hiring best-fit, highly qualified employees for the rapidly expanding COPE Health Solutions team, as well as for building brand awareness of COPE Health Solutions as an employer of choice among top candidates. This position requires a fast learner who thrives in a high pressure, constantly changing environment. He/she will perform other projects and assignments as directed by executive leadership and the CEO.
Position Description:
- Source, recruit and hire top tier, highly qualified candidates to be part of the COPE Health Solutions team.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of COPE Health Solutions’ mission, vision and values in order to enhance and assist with the organization’s overall recruitment strategy
- Develop and consistently refine specific recruitment strategies for wide-ranging positions in health care and consulting, from internship and entry-level roles to leadership roles, all across multiple states
- Successfully source hires for numerous hard to fill positions while improving pivotal departmental metrics
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop a strong understanding of their current and future departmental needs; maintain clear, open and constant communication with hiring managers to ensure candidate and hire quality meets their standards and needs
- Establish a consistent and compelling recruitment branding message for the organization across all company sites and social media pages
- Work closely with departmental leadership to coordinate recruitment efforts
- Manage all phases of the recruitment process, including:
Position Creation and Posting
- Work with hiring managers to ensure all position requisitions are completed with accurate information and approved in advance of search activity
- Meet with hiring managers to discuss positions and desired candidates; refine position descriptions, application questions and posting locations accordingly
- Post and continuously update all open requisitions
- Source high quality, best-fit candidates through:
- Online sources, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, all company social media sites and all other recruitment sites known to produce high-caliber candidates
- Outbound university recruitment and events
- Employee referrals
- Internal promotion or transfer
- Professional associations
- Networking events
- Corporate recruitment events
- Seek out alternative means to circulate positions, such as newsletters, sponsorships, etc.
- Establish and maintain an organizational recruitment branding message for all social media sites, and consistently post open opportunities
Recruitment Lifecycle
- Conduct active outbound recruitment to engage and secure passive candidates, especially from those sources designated by the executive team and hiring managers as areas of interest, including top graduate programs and direct competitors in the consulting and health care spheres
- Review all candidate resumes, accepting those that meet the organization’s standards for education, experience, professionalism and the specific skills required for each position
- Conduct initial phone and video interviews with qualified candidates
- Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with hiring manager requirements, and recommend the best candidates after a detailed screening and skill assessment
- Submit qualified candidates for in-person interview and/or case study consideration and scheduling
- Ensure ongoing follow-up with hiring managers to ensure that candidate pool meets needs; recalibrate all aspects of strategy as needed
- Coordinate interview panels, group interviews and other unique interviewing processes as necessary
- Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates
University Recruitment
- Design and implement a strong university recruitment program to attract current and graduating students from the nation’s top MBA, MHA and MPH programs
- Manage and attend all university recruitment events, including career fairs, on-campus interviewing, and employer panels and presentations
- Develop and manage special university recruitment efforts, including:
- Designing and recruiting for a structured summer internship program
- Coordinating with universities to recruit students seeking to fulfill their program’s practicum and residency requirements
- Planning and hosting corporate office open houses for students
- Designing and recruiting for consulting case study competitions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with university career centers
Budgeting and Reporting
- Establish and adhere to departmental budget for recruitment activities
- Report out on budget utilization as requested
- Prepare organizational and flow charts, career path, succession planning and compensation reports, and consistently monitor and report out on days to fill, days to hire and other relevant recruitment metrics
- Track and report candidate application status, hiring metrics, and recruiting activity in a timely and efficient manner
- Compile and update reports for job openings, hires and post-hire summaries for hiring managers and management team on a weekly basis
Process Improvement
- Analyze and identify opportunities for improved efficiency within recruitment processes; document and share with relevant stakeholders and users
- Conduct periodic surveys of relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement within recruitment
- Maintain and improve organization and quality of company recruitment resources, tracking tools, documents and informational materials
- Carry out other duties, tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience of applicable recruitment experience
- Recruitment experience in the consulting industry strongly preferred
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively and effectively while handling multiple projects on various timelines in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Self-starter, detail-oriented and able to work well independently
- Strong customer drive and dedication to quality and success
- Strong project management, communication, prioritization and feedback skills
- Flexible with work hours, able to travel, and able to work on evenings and weekends frequently
- Strong acumen for the health care industry, analytical thinking skills and a strong and dedicated work ethic are required
Technical Skills
- Extremely high level of proficiency of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Project Management)
- Expert level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruitment sites
- Experience with Jobvite preferred
