Description
We are looking for a Maintenance / Machinist Operator to join our Cedar Rapids (Hiawatha) team! Our machinists are a vital part of our overall success, as we rely on them to continue producing high quality products for our valued customers. Essential Functions :
- Maintains and repairs machinery by using Preventative Maintenance work orders, daily check lists and calls for immediate repairs.
- Troubleshoots, inspects and diagnoses problems and corrects as necessary.
- Installs new power requirements for machinery and replaces broken power receptacles.
- Builds new storage racks for corporate location and all branches.
- Maintains electrical switches, fixtures and lighting in the plant.
- Assists with installation of new machinery.
- Records maintenance and repair work performed.

Qualifications
Education : Requires a high school education or GED, plus additional specialized training in electrical and welding trades. 2 years of Vocational / Technical School preferred.
Experience : Requires a minimum of one year of experience in machinery maintenance, electricity and plumbing, knowledge of CNC machines.
License(s) / Certification(s) Required :
Forklift License Required
