Currently seeking a dedicated Order Packer for our warehouse facility in Alton, IL. The ideal candidate will be attentive to details, promote a safe-working environment, and have great organizational skills.
Essential Functions:
- Verifies fabrication orders to customers specifications
- Determines best method of packaging and fabricates containers or uses those already assembled
- Prepares packages for shipping and confirms orders
- Maintains a clean work environment and follows all safety procedures and regulations
Education: Requires a high school education or GED
Experience: No experience required
Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids:
Barcode scanners, saws, measuring devices, packaging equipment, computers and appropriate software, hand trucks and forklift
