Job Summary:
The Outbound Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the outbound operations of the company. This position is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the shipment of goods, materials, or customer orders, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the outbound logistics or customer service department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders or goods before the cut-off time for e-commerce order fulfilment and LTL orders.
2. Monitor order accuracy, packaging quality, and shipment timeliness.
3. Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure the efficient flow of goods.
4. Communicate with the CSR team and ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries and tracking requests.
5. Identify inefficiencies in outbound processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations.
6. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and accuracy.
7. Address any discrepancies or deviations promptly and effectively.
8. Collaborate with transportation providers and carriers to schedule and optimize deliveries.
9. Other assignments from the manager.
Qualifications:
1. Over 3 experience in outbound logistics or inventory management.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Very organized and detailed oriented.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems and WMS systems)
6. Knowledge of e-commerce industry will be a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 58 per week
