Tax Manager- Compliance Focus

Copeland Buhl & Company PLLP is looking to add a Manager to our firm. As a Manager you will be responsible for supervising staff to achieve project profitability, build teams, and develop individuals. The Manager executes technical skills at a high level. The Manager is also the main effort in ensuring that firm quality standards are adequately enforced, and deliverables adhere to firm policies. Key Responsibilities Review complex business and individual tax returns in a variety of industries. Share technical expertise to support the firm and clients. Implement tax planning and tax savings strategies. Stay up to date on latest firm and industry trends. Work collaboratively in a team environment with all levels including partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting. Either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) required. Experience managing multiple projects in various industries. Proven ability to meet firm standards for chargeable hours, productivity, and realization. Experience serving as a Sr. Accountant or in a similar role. ProSystems FX, CCH Axcess Tax, and CCH Engagement experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
