Position Overview: The Electrical Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all electrical components, systems, and installations comply with industry standards and project specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and documenting results to guarantee the highest level of quality and safety in electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inspection and Testing: Conduct detailed inspections and testing of electrical components, systems, and installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Generate detailed reports on findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
· Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality electrical work. Identify and address any deviations from established standards.
· Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and electricians to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to quality standards.
· Compliance: Stay updated with industry regulations, codes, and standards related to electrical work. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with these requirements.
· Training: Assist in the training and development of team members on quality control procedures and best practices. Promote a culture of quality and safety within the organization.
· Problem-Solving: Identify root causes of quality issues and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
· Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Completed apprenticeship training program with 10 years or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications in quality control or electrical work are a plus.
· Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with electrical construction/quality control, inspection, or a related role.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical testing equipment and tools. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
· Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
