About the Role:
As a CNC Machine Operator at Copeland Furniture, you’ll be an integral part of producing the distinct, beautifully crafted components that define each of our high-end furniture pieces. This role is perfect for someone with experience in CNC machining who is ready to contribute to a fast-paced, high-quality production environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work with advanced CNC machinery, traditional woodworking tools, and a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set Up and Operate CNC Machines: Configure and operate multiple CNC machining centers to create precise, high-quality furniture components.
- Validate Accuracy: Ensure setups match detailed drawings and make necessary adjustments to guarantee the highest level of precision.
- Perform Secondary Operations: Use traditional woodworking tools for secondary operations, such as drilling, routing, and sanding.
- CNC-Based Assembly: Assemble components in a CNC-based assembly cell, ensuring efficiency and product integrity.
- Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to ensure consistent operation.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve machine setups, programs, and jigs to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and the timely completion of production goals.

- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC machine operator, with the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery.

- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and use basic math for measurements.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks associated with machine operation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, organized, and a team-oriented attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
