This position will provide timely and accurate Inventory counts, be involved with identifying root causes to repetitive inventory errors, and propose corrective actions.
Cycle count materials based on the “ABC” grouping system which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Lead. Submit accurate inventory counts Work with the inventory lead and inventory coordinator to determine root causes of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors In addition to performing daily required counts, the cycle counter will also perform any urgently needed counts to support day-to-day operations Assist warehouse personal with locating materials Assist in updating dims and weights for all materials in database. Always follow all safety rules and regulations. Be able to carefully and safely operate a forklift Always maintain a clean and organized work area Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Requires the following knowledge and abilities:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a team as well as independently
- Basic PC knowledge
- Must be able to follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior
