Copeland is hiring a Product Manager/Senior Product Manager to support Oil-Free Centrifugal, products, and services, focused on driving efficiency, and environmental sustainability in commercial applied applications like data centers, heat recovery, and comfort cooling chillers. This role is based out of our Sidney, OH campus.
AS A PRODUCT MANAGER/SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER:
- Define and implement product strategies and roadmaps.
- Prioritize products and product requirements through business analysis and feedback from vital team members.
- Support new business development, engage with key customers, and develop sales enablement tools for new growth products.
- Conduct and analyze market research in collaboration with marketing.
- Launch product through formal new product development process.
- Develop robust product pricing strategy using market insights and data analytics.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- MBA or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent business experience
- Five (5) years experience in product management, marketing, product development, technical sales, or engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Travel: 15-20%
- Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- HVACR industry experience
- Proven track record to work with highly technical business-to-business products
- Prior experience with oil-free centrifugal technology is highly preferred
Flexible Work Schedule
This role has the flexibility of a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

Our newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for our HVACR Americas business unit. Through our many years of compressor expertise, our products help bring comfort and convenience to refrigeration, commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
