At Copeland Veterinary Hospital, we’re dedicated to providing urgent and emergency care with extended hours and specialized services for pets in our community. While we are not currently a 24/7 facility, we operate with the flexibility and responsiveness that high-quality emergency and urgent care demands — including occasional on-call or overnight needs to best support our patients and team.
Our current hours are:
Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Our sister hospital, Flatt Veterinary Clinic, offers full-service general practice care — from wellness and preventive medicine to routine procedures — creating a well-rounded continuum of care for pets and their families.
Our current hours are:

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

What You’ll Be Doing
Team Support & Leadership
- Cultivate a respectful, inclusive, and connected culture where every team member — from the front desk to clinical staff — feels heard, valued, and supported.
- Offer coaching, mentorship, and day-to-day support to staff, with an emphasis on open communication and shared goals.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors and hospital teams to align clinical and operational priorities.
- Maintain a visible, approachable presence across departments and locations.
️ Operations & Collaboration
- Oversee the daily flow of both hospitals, ensuring teams are set up for success.
- Partner with leads and staff to create balanced schedules that reflect both hospital needs and personal well-being.
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Support ongoing learning through regular team meetings, feedback, and growth opportunities.
Financial Oversight & Planning
- Collaborate with Innovetive Petcare’s support teams on budget planning, payroll, and financial performance.
- Use data to set goals and track progress in areas like patient care, client experience, and team efficiency.
- Help shape the future of our hospitals through strategic planning and service expansion.
Client Experience & Community Engagement
- Ensure every client and patient interaction reflects our shared commitment to kindness and quality care.
- Partner with client service teams to resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Represent our hospitals with pride and integrity in the local community.
✅ What You Bring
Required Experience:
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in a veterinary or clinical setting (ER or multi-site experience is a plus!)
- Confidence supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic clinical environment
- Familiarity with veterinary software platforms like Cornerstone, EzyVet, or similar

Schedule & Flexibility
This is a full-time, salaried role. You’ll work closely with both daytime and overnight teams and should be available for rotating weekend and holiday coverage. While Copeland is your home base, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with the team at Flatt as well, based on shared needs.
