AS A QUALITY TEAM MEMBER, YOU WILL :

• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bill of materials, engineering specifications and formulas to determine quality requirement standards. Work with engineering, managers or others to interpret standards.
• Provide technical direction and training to team members.
• Follow all regulations such as EPA, OSHA, lab safety, etc., Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Disassemble compressors in various components to analyze potential causes for abnormalities.
• Gauge and record test data, teardown data and information to assist in systematic process of viewing potential causes and apply statistical procedures to interpret this information.
• Determine need for special test (ex. bolted shells, special gauging) to assist is separation of potential causes. Evaluate results of tests.
• Set up and perform various tests or measurements on materials, parts or products to solve problems and / or improve quality and reliability.
• Write reports, enter and extract computer information for analysis.
• Recommend possible modifications to processes to achieve optimum quality.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Guaranteed wage progression every 3 months, for the first two years!

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

About Our Location

Alliance Compressors LLC develops, manufactures, and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third-largest manufacturing business in the area, and offers its 650 employees many opportunities for advancement.
