The Inside Field Service Coordinator is responsible for remote troubleshooting, diagnosing, and finding customer solutions for complex technical issues related to baking and dough-forming equipment, food and powder extrusion, candy and gummy depositing, and gas fired burners and ovens.

The Inside Field Service Coordinator is responsible for remote troubleshooting, diagnosing, and finding customer solutions for complex technical issues related to baking and dough-forming equipment, food and powder extrusion, candy and gummy depositing, and gas fired burners and ovens.
Work You’ll Do:
- Provides remote support and guidance to field service engineers, and sales ensuring timely and effective solutions to customer issues.
- Play a critical role in training new technicians and contributing to continuous process improvements through updating documentation and creating new processes when necessary.
- Keep accurate records, reports, photos, etc. from your jobs and transmit them to the proper network location and groups for action.
- Complete all data sheets related to assignments as detailed as possible and in a timely manner.
- Assist with Aftermarket and Capital Equipment projects by offering info and pricing to those groups to help them complete their project quotes.
- General support of day-to-day activities in the Field Service group.
- Associate degree in industrial electricity, electronic engineering technology, or other related field, or combination of equivalent training/certifications experience and high school diploma.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Field Service or in-house Assembly or servicing of large capital equipment required.
- Electrical and mechanical experience.
- The ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering reports, drawings, office procedures, and instruction manuals.
- The ability to use standard hand tools as well as basic electrical tools (multimeter, etc.).
- The ability to write clear, concise routine correspondence as well as comprehensive documents.
- Strong understanding of Windows, MS Office Suite, remote and LAN connections and software.
- Available for travel up to 5%
- Bakery and or extrusion equipment repair experience.
- Experience with any of the following: HMI (Human Machine Interface), Wonderware using RS Logics 5000, Compact Logics Processor/Allen Bradley, RS View, Controllogix, RS Logics 500, Omron PLC/HMI, Computer Networking, Ethernet IP, Devicenet, RS232 Communications, AC/DC Drives, VFD. experience.
