Job Title: Substitute Paraprofessional

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instructional support to individual students or small groups to help bridge learning gaps and reinforce concepts.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as setting up equipment, preparing materials, and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise students during transitions, recess, and other activities outside of the regular classroom setting.
- Attend to the physical, emotional, and academic needs of students, providing personalized support and care.
- Work closely with students who have IEPs/504 Plans to implement tailored support strategies and promote independence.
- Perform various duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration, contributing to the overall success of the school community.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Compensation: $10-$17 per hour
