Summary
Substitute teachers assist with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher. When regular teachers are absent, you will step in to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of the daily educational program. This role not only allows you to refine your teaching skills but also provides a unique opportunity to create a positive and enriching learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
- Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
- Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
- Perform other duties as directed by school administration
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
