Job Description:
As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating a positive learning environment when a permanent teacher is absent. This includes following lesson plans, providing individualized support, and maintaining classroom order.
Responsibilities:
- Administer daily lesson plans and provide quality instruction
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Report any student injuries, illnesses, or disciplinary issues to school administrators
- Perform additional duties as directed by school administrators
Qualifications:
We welcome both certified and non-certified candidates. If you don't have all necessary qualifications, our dedicated hiring coordinators can assist you in obtaining them.
- Non-Certified: Minimum 30 college credits and NJ Substitute Certification
- Certified: Valid NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
