Substitute Teacher Position
District: Windham Public Schools
Pay Rate: $120 - $125 per day
Job Description:
This role involves stepping in for regular teachers when they are absent to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of the daily educational program.
As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to refine your teaching skills and create a positive and enriching learning environment for students.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while the regular teacher is absent
- Review and implement the regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Report any student injuries, illness, or serious discipline problems to school administration
- Perform additional duties as directed by school administration
Key Characteristics:
This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with young learners is preferred but not required.
