Duties:
- Prepare high-quality beverages, including coffee drinks, teas, and other specialty drinks
-Maintain an organized food line when serving salads, soups, and paninis
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and handling standards
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers leave the café satisfied
- Operate the Square POS system accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash and credit transactions, balancing the cash register at the end of each shift
- Demonstrate strong sales skills, recommending menu items and promotions to customers
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, assisting customers with questions and concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a clean café environment
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Support the café in achieving its sales goals through upselling and promoting special deals
