Schedule Commitment
The Event Services Supervisor generally works five days a week with two consecutive days off. On non-event days a typical schedule is Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, event days will include nights and weekend shifts. When a night or weekend shift is scheduled, the Monday – Friday schedule is adjusted to create a 40-hour work week. Occasionally there will be additional hours as required to meet the demands of the job. Regular attendance is expected.
Pay Plan
This opportunity is exempt and on Pay Grade #12. The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade. Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.
Hiring Range: $56,022-$68,619Min $56,022 ($26.93)
Mid $68,619 ($32.99)
Max $81,215 ($39.05)

Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Arts, Sports Entertainment Management, Theatre, Hospitality Management, or other relevant field of study required.
- Five (5) years experience required, plus a minimum of two (2) years at a Supervisory level managing event operations.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s license with a good driving record
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret documents, write event reports and present information effectively.
- Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent customer service and ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Skilled in handling public relation issues and conflict resolution.
- Supervisory and Organizational Skills:
- Effective supervisory skills, safety procedures and knowledge of training principles.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion and effectively meet deadlines.
- Mathematical and Analytical Skills:
- Proficient in basic accounting principles and financial management.
- Strong analytical skills for problem solving.
- Technical and Industry Knowledge:
- Proficient in event operations at a high-volume performing arts center, convention center, hotel and/or live entertainment venue.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Event Management Software and basic office equipment.
- Knowledge of technical event operations including A/V.
