As an Intern in the City Manager’s Office, you'll assist with a variety of special projects while helping other departments as needed. Your tasks will include creating and managing citizen satisfaction and internal services surveys, working with departments to develop meaningful outcome measures/metrics, assisting with Vision 2040 Strategic Plan Refresh, and conducting research and analysis on various topics for the City Manager. It's a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a variety of areas!

Schedule Commitment
Works a flexible work schedule Monday-Friday, averaging 20 hours a week. Regular on-site attendance including days, evenings, and weekends as assigned. Attending according to the mutually agreed-upon schedule is essential.

Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in public administration or related field.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including proficiency in writing reports and memos, developing PowerPoint presentations, and manipulating data in Excel.
- Skill in effective written and verbal communication, tailored to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to apply technical expertise to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
