LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY (IN PERSON INTERVIEW)

Must-Have Skills:

• 8 years overall experience in cloud engineering roles
• 5 years hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services including Lambda, ECS Fargate, EKS, SQS, SES, and API Gateway
• Expertise in Terraform and Terragrunt scripting for infrastructure automation
• Strong experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with FinOps principles and cost optimization in AWS environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Cloud Practitioner, etc.)
• Experience with FinOps tools (e.g., Apptio Cloudability, CloudHealth)
• Experience leading customer engagements and cloud cost optimization initiatives
• Background in working with offshore teams

Responsibilities Include:

• Design, implement, and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt
• Lead technical solutioning and delivery within a scrum environment
• Guide teams on cloud cost savings strategies and FinOps implementation
• Optimize AWS services and application performance
• Implement unit testing, logging, and observability with Datadog
• Manage project deliverables and communication with client stakeholders
• Support CI/CD implementation, DevOps tooling, and service integration
• Lead workshops and knowledge sharing sessions on best practices
