Analyst I, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Operations
JOB DESCRIPTION
An Analyst I, through an initial training period, will gain familiarity with industry specific terminology and regulations. The Analyst I will utilize various computer software systems to assist with daily operations. Regular correspondence with brokers and clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Validate and audit data for accuracy.
· Communicate with clients and 3rd party service providers, through email and phone, in order to obtain pertinent information and resolve discrepancies or other issues.
· Utilize client Inventory Control and Record Keeping Systems in order to properly report inventory movements to CBP.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail oriented and Critical Thinking Skills.
- Good attitude and willingness to work as a team member.
- Industry specific license or certification is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an Operations Management related field is a plus but is not required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Preferred 0-2 years in a Customs Compliance role.
· Customs/compliance experience
· Logistics/Supply Chain experience
