Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
- Plan and execute catering services, coordinating with event planners to meet client expectations.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar setting, with a strong understanding of food production techniques, consistency and process integration.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices with the ability to build out, maintain and utilize on a daily basis.
- Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail in presentation.
- Strong leadership abilities for effective team management focused on positivity and communication.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to continuous learning in the field.

Pay: $700.00 - $850.00 per week
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
