Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and restaurant management, with experience in catering services and dietary department operations. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
  • Plan and execute catering services, coordinating with event planners to meet client expectations.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar setting, with a strong understanding of food production techniques, consistency and process integration.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices with the ability to build out, maintain and utilize on a daily basis.
  • Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail in presentation.
  • Strong leadership abilities for effective team management focused on positivity and communication.
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to continuous learning in the field.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $700.00 - $850.00 per week

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Supplemental Pay:
