What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Technician position at Copper King Hotel & Convention Center?
Job Summary:
- The Audio Visual Technician, position will provide support for events requiring Audio, Video, Lighting, or general technical assistance at the Copper King Hotel.
- The ideal candidate has at least six months to 1 years of experience and possesses skills in Audio, Video and or Lighting.
- A team-oriented attitude, ability to work with a small group of people, and self-motivated attitude are essential characteristics for this position, as well as an underlying enthusiasm for helping people. The position requires.
Knowledge and Experience (Include the following, but are not limited to);
- Strong hospitality skills, including personal interacting with internal staff and guests.
- Organizational and time management skills
- Setup, operate, and tear down audiovisual sets. Audio: Mixers, mics, speakers. Video: Screens, projectors, TV's analog/digital. Lighting: Rigging, lights, LED and conventional, DMX, Etc. Etc. Etc.
- Organize, and plan each day’s events as requested by the client and supervisor.
- Work with other departments to ensure a smooth client experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
