We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Event Setup staff to join our team. The Event Setup staff will be responsible for overseeing the setup of event spaces, ensuring all elements are in place and the venue is prepared according to client specifications and company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage logistics efficiently, and a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of event setup including ordering linens, arranging furniture, and configuring event spaces according to client specifications.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand event requirements and ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee onsite setup activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain inventory of event setup materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the events industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules.
- Knowledge of event planning processes and industry trends is a plus.
- High school graduate
- At least 21 years old
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds on occasion
- Available for occasional night and weekend shifts
Compensation:
- For candidates with 2 years of experience in wedding planning: $30.00/hour.
- Entry-level candidates without experience: $20.00/hour.
