POSITION OBJECTIVE: This is the fully functioning administrative support level. Performs a variety of complex clerical and computer work. Performs departmental or program accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget tracking and maintenance. Administers basic programs, modifies procedures, and audits compliance. Conducts research and provides recommendations. Acts as a representative of the department and/or manager. May act as a lead worker, including training of other clerical or support staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: (positions in this class typically require): High School Degree, and five years of specialized office or secretarial experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work.
