The Physician Medical Director will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the Director of Medical Services, providing direct patient care, oversight of APP and CHA providers, and leadership to the clinical team.Key Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care and supervision of APP and CHA providers.
- Development of personalized treatment plans and coordination with receiving physicians.
- Collaboration with other departments and providers at CRNA to ensure comprehensive care.
- Peer review programs and risk management activities.
- Development of best practice protocols and quality initiatives.
- Collaboration with operational leadership to develop policies and procedures.
- Medical or Osteopathy degree from accredited university.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related.
- Valid state of Alaska medical license and DEA registration.
- ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and BLS certified or equivalent.
- Strong community health background and at least three (3) years' experience in primary care.
- Supervisory experience of Advance Practice Providers.
