Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is looking for a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our industrial maintenance team. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a hands-on environment, is not afraid to get dirty, and is eager to learn. No prior electrical experience is required, but candidates should have a basic understanding of power tools and a strong work ethic.
This role starts with the foundational task of greasing machinery, providing a great opportunity to build a rapport with machine operators and gain valuable experience working in an industrial setting. We prioritize teaching good habits and skills, making this an excellent opportunity for inexperienced candidates ready to grow in a maintenance career.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine lubrication and greasing of machinery on the production floor.
- Build relationships with machine operators to understand equipment needs and operations.
- Assist the maintenance team with basic tasks and learn to support ongoing projects.
- Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while working around machinery.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of power tools and their safe use.
- Preferably some experience in an industrial environment, working around machinery (direct machine repair experience is not required).
- Comfortable working in a greasy, hands-on industrial environment.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced team members.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a sometimes dirty, greasy, or loud environment.
Shift:
M - F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Salary : $22 - $25
