Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.  You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operations.  

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of our supply chain operations.

• Work closely with multiple departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure efficient procurement, production, and distribution of our fasteners while maintaining the highest levels of quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
• Production Planning: Collaborate with the production team to create effective production schedules, considering inventory levels, customer demands, and production capacity.
• Order Processing: Manage the order processing system to ensure accuracy and timely order fulfillment, working closely with sales and customer service teams.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize shipping, transportation, and distribution processes to meet delivery timelines and reduce lead times.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards by implementing quality control measures throughout the supply chain process.
• Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and propose strategies for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
• Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any disruptions to the supply chain.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing supply chain operations, such as safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of efficient methodologies within the supply chain.
• Effectively communicate, support, and enforce Copper State’s stance on productivity, policies, procedures, goals, objectives, and plans.
• Must have Excel, analytical and trends knowledge and basic Windows.  Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus. 

Decision/Information Sharing and Communication

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as procurement, production, and distribution to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Build strong relationships with all stakeholders in the supply chain, including suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers. Regularly communicate with them to understand their needs, share relevant information, and address any concerns or issues.
• Provide timely updates on inventory levels, production schedules, shipping status, and any potential delays or disruptions.

Physical requirements

• This position will be performed at a desk/workstation in an air-conditioned, nonhazardous office environment, with standard office equipment available.
• Frequently required to sit and must be able to remain in a stationary position while performing the essential duties of this position.

Compensation Structure and Typical Work/Shift Hours

Exempt (Salary)

Work hours: Monday-Friday; 7:30 – 5:00 p.m.
