Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and friendly Sales Associate/Cashier/Stocker to join our team at our liquor store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing cash transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection.
- Provide recommendations on wine, beer, spirits, and other beverages based on customer preferences.
- Answer questions about products, promotions, and store policies in a knowledgeable manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Cashiering:
- Operate the cash register, process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary.
- Maintain the cash register area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow store policies and procedures for cash handling, returns, and exchanges.

Stocking & Inventory:
- Stock shelves and display cases with products, ensuring items are faced, organized, and properly labeled.
- Check inventory levels and assist in ordering and receiving new stock.
- Ensure that products are rotated according to expiration dates and store policies.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor and back storage areas.

Store Maintenance:
- Help maintain the store's appearance by keeping shelves, aisles, and displays clean and orderly.
- Assist with setting up in-store displays and promotional materials.
- Ensure all store signage is up-to-date and accurately represents current promotions.

Compliance:
- Adhere to all legal requirements related to the sale of alcohol, including checking customer IDs for age verification.
- Ensure the store follows health and safety regulations.
- Follow store procedures for handling damaged goods, expired products, or product recalls.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Must be of legal age to work in a liquor store (21 Years of Age per State of Texas).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry items, stock shelves, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of alcohol products is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move stock, boxes, and other store materials up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged standing and walking on the sales floor.
- Occasional bending, reaching, and squatting to access lower or higher shelves.
