Job Description: We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and must possess excellent communication skills and a genuine love for animals. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing client appointments, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and assisting with administrative tasks. This position requires someone who can multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival.
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar.
• Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and medical histories.
• Assist with billing and processing payments.
• Manage inventory of office supplies and pet products
• Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.
