ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversee entire financial operations, including banking, accounts payable and financial reporting
- Manage the preparation of regular financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- In conjunction with the [Manager, FP&A], direct the US Business Unit’s annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting process.
- Direct the US Business Unit’s monthly management reporting deliverables to executive management and the corporate office
- Be a collaborator with other departments to streamline procedures, ensure smooth workflow and improve business performance. This role sets a tone and acts as a key role model for collaboration between departments and with the project team
- Accountable for the governance of the financial controls and processes within the US Business Unit’s instance of SAP such that they are SoX compliant and ensure accurate and up-to-date financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements including taxation
- Support the preparation of quarterly tax provisions and the filing of tax returns
- Develop processes and controls to improve efficiency of financial operations
- Ensure the integrity and operating effectiveness of management process controls as part of the global SoX program
- Act as a point of contact for all external financial audits
- Supporting the insurance and bonding programs
- Ensure accurate and complete compliance with the ESTMA and CSR reporting requirements
- Supporting needs of project controls team
- Supporting ad hoc projects and initiatives commensurate with a growth company

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- CPA designation or equivalent, in good standing
- Experience with SAP or sufficiently large ERP software package
- Solid understanding of local financial laws and regulations
- Preference will be given to experience with US tax compliance
- Exceptional communication, leadership and organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- At least five years of people management experience in a corporate setting
- At least twelve years of financial accounting and/or audit experience
Experience in a SoX compliance environment

The work environment will be nearly exclusively outside and weather conditions such as hot or cold, windy, and very dry to wet conditions. Work will be conducted off established roads and trails on a variety of terrain.
Employee will be expected to drive a company vehicle, rental vehicle and/or his/her own vehicle in the course of performing the job, Employee must be able to perform the physical functions of operating a motor vehicle, including use of eyes, ears, arms, hands, legs, and feet. Employee must be able to prove that he/she has a current and valid driver's license.
